Right-clicking on any image on a webpage opens a built-in modal window with instant preview. It allows you to edit the file in seconds and save the image in the format you need.
1. Saving in familiar formats and converting WebP, AVIF, SVG, HEIC
Forget the problem when your browser forces you to download files in 'inconvenient' formats. The extension makes it easy to switch formats and save images as JPG or PNG instead of WebP, AVIF, or JFIF. It also supports professional tasks: converting vector SVG to PNG with a transparent background, as well as converting HEIC and TIFF formats to regular JPG. For compressible formats, a smooth quality adjustment slider is available, ranging from 10% to 100%.
2. Precise photo compression to 500 KB or a specified file size (Resize to KB)
The ‘Compress to target size’ option solves a common problem when preparing graphics for anonymous forms, government service portals, and websites with strict size limits (e.g., ‘compress a photo to 500 KB or 200 KB’). The bisection algorithm calculates quality settings to achieve the specified file size in KB without losing visual clarity.
3. Interactive cropping (Crop) and resizing
The cropping tool lets you draw a custom selection box with your mouse directly over the image and precisely adjust the borders using 8 active markers. You can change the image resolution, rotate it by 90°, or instantly mirror it horizontally and vertically.
4. Automatic trimming of white borders (Autocrop)
The smart autocrop feature scans the corner pixels of a photo, detects the background colour, and allows you to automatically trim white borders or transparency around an object with fine-tuned sensitivity (Tolerance).
5. Clearing EXIF metadata and removing geolocation
When processing images, hidden metadata (GPS coordinates, camera model, date, and author tags) is automatically removed upon saving. You can also copy the image to the clipboard in PNG format with one click for quick pasting into graphic editors or messengers.
